Bore Draw on SportyBet Ghana

Bore Draw on SportyBet Ghana protects stakes on qualifying football bets when a match ends 0-0. If a covered prediction loses because of a goalless draw, the selection is settled as void at decimal odds of 1.00 instead of being recorded as a loss.
The feature applies to eligible pre-match Correct Score and Half Time/Full Time selections. Correct Score 0-0 and Half Time/Full Time Draw/Draw are excluded because they already win when a match finishes 0-0.
Bore Draw protection is applied automatically during settlement. For a qualifying Single, the original stake is returned. In a Multiple, the protected selection is settled at odds of 1.00, allowing the remaining selections to determine the ticket’s result.

How Bore Draw Works on SportyBet

Bore Draw changes the settlement of a qualifying losing prediction when the match finishes 0-0. For example, a GHS 20 Single on Correct Score 2-1 would normally lose following a goalless draw. With Bore Draw, SportyBet settles the selection as void at odds of 1.00 and returns the GHS 20 stake.
If the match ends 1-0, the same prediction loses normally. Bore Draw only protects against a completed 0-0 result.

Automatic Stake Protection When a Match Ends 0-0

Bore Draw is triggered by a 0-0 result at full time, including stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shootouts aren’t included in standard full-time football settlement.

Bore Draw is applied automatically when an eligible bet is settled. You don’t need to request a refund or activate the protection separately.
For example, consider a GHS 10 Multiple with two selections at odds of 1.80 and 2.00. If the first selection is voided under Bore Draw and the second wins, the final odds become 1.00 × 2.00 = 2.00, giving a total payout of GHS 20.
The adjusted settlement appears in Sports Bet History.

Football Markets Eligible for Bore Draw

Bore Draw covers two pre-match football markets: Correct Score and Half Time/Full Time. The selections that already win with a 0-0 result are excluded from the protection.

Correct Score Bets and the 0-0 Exception

Correct Score bets require predicting the exact full-time result. For example, a GHS 15 bet on 1-0 wins only if the home team wins by that score. If the match ends 0-0, Bore Draw protects the eligible losing prediction and returns the GHS 15 stake.
A Correct Score 0-0 selection is excluded from Bore Draw because it already wins at its accepted odds when the match finishes goalless.

Half Time/Full Time Bets and Draw/Draw Selections

Half Time/Full Time bets require predicting both the half-time and full-time results. For example, Home/Draw means the home team leads at half-time but the match finishes level.
A match ending 0-0 produces Draw/Draw because neither team scored in either half. This selection wins normally and is excluded from Bore Draw. Other eligible Half Time/Full Time predictions that lose following a goalless draw are settled as void at odds of 1.00.

How Bore Draw Bets Are Settled

Bore Draw changes the settlement of a qualifying losing selection when its football match finishes 0-0. The selection is voided at decimal odds of 1.00.

Match Result Single Bet Settlement Multiple Bet Settlement
Match ends 0-0 and the prediction wins Normal winning payout at accepted odds The selection counts as a winning leg
Match ends 0-0 and the qualifying prediction loses Selection voided at 1.00, original stake returned Protected leg settled at 1.00, remaining legs determine the payout
Match ends with another score and the prediction wins Normal winning payout Selection counts as a winning leg
Match ends with another score and the prediction loses Stake lost Losing leg causes a standard Multiple to lose
Match is postponed, cancelled, or abandoned General football settlement rules apply Affected leg is settled under football rules, with remaining legs recalculated where applicable

For example, consider a GHS 10 Multiple with three predictions at odds of 1.50, 2.00, and 1.80.

The original combined odds are 5.40, producing a potential payout of GHS 54.

If the second selection qualifies for Bore Draw and its match finishes 0-0, that selection is voided. The combined settlement odds become 1.50 × 1.00 × 1.80 = 2.70.

If the other two predictions win, the total payout is GHS 27.

The protected leg is settled at 1.00. The other winning legs retain their accepted odds in the final payout calculation.

Bore Draw Conditions and Restrictions

A 0-0 result alone doesn’t guarantee Bore Draw protection. The bet must have been placed before kick-off on an eligible Correct Score or Half Time/Full Time selection marked with the feature.
Cashout can also affect the protected amount. The restrictions for different betting formats and Cashout options are explained below.

Pre-Match, Live and Virtual Football Restrictions

The feature is restricted to qualifying real football matches selected before kick-off.

The following betting products aren’t covered by the standard Bore Draw promotion:

  • Live Betting: Bets placed after the football match begins.
  • Instant Virtuals: Computer-generated instant football matches.
  • vFootball: Simulated football matches available in the vFootball section.

Even if a live or virtual football match finishes 0-0, Bore Draw protection doesn’t apply. Only eligible pre-match bets on real football fixtures qualify.

Full and Partial Cash Out Conditions

Bore Draw protection also depends on whether the qualifying wager remains active when the football match finishes.

  • Full Cashout: Bore Draw protection no longer applies once the entire qualifying bet has been cashed out.
  • Partial Cashout: Bore Draw can still apply to the remaining active stake. The portion already cashed out isn’t included in the protected settlement.

For example, if a GHS 20 qualifying Single has half its original stake remaining after Partial Cashout, Bore Draw protection applies to that remaining GHS 10 stake if the match finishes 0-0 and the prediction loses.

The completed Cashout amount and remaining stake are recorded separately. The final settlement can be checked in Sports Bet History.

FAQ

Does Bore Draw Apply if a Match Is 0-0 at Half-Time?

Bore Draw requires a qualifying football match to finish 0-0 at full time. A goalless first half doesn’t trigger the refund. If the score is 0-0 at half-time but the match ends 1-0, 1-1, or another result involving goals, Bore Draw protection doesn’t apply. The bet is settled according to the selected market and the final result.

What Happens if a Football Match Is Postponed or Cancelled?

A postponed, cancelled, or abandoned match isn’t automatically treated as a Bore Draw result. The promotion requires a completed 0-0 full-time score. Undecided bets on matches that aren’t completed are subject to SportyBet’s football settlement rules. Where a selection is voided under those rules, a Single returns its original stake, while a voided Multiple selection is settled at odds of 1.00.

Where Can I Check My Bore Draw Refund?

Open Me > Sports Bet History and locate your settled ticket. If Bore Draw was applied, the protected selection will appear as void at odds of 1.00. The ticket details will show the returned stake for a Single or the recalculated payout for a Multiple.
